Reservations and Inquiries — When you request information, submit an inquiry, make a reservation, complete a waiver, or otherwise communicate with Book My Boat, we may collect: full name, email address, telephone number, billing address, date of birth (where required), government-issued identification (when required), emergency contact information, payment and billing information, charter preferences, passenger information, reservation history, communications with Book My Boat, and any other information you voluntarily provide.
Customer Account — If you create an account, we may collect and store: name, email address, telephone number, password (stored in encrypted form), reservation history, saved preferences, favorite vessels, communication preferences, and loyalty or rewards information.
Payments — Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment providers. Book My Boat may collect limited payment-related information including billing name, billing address, payment method, transaction amount, and payment status.
Identity Verification — Where necessary, we may request government-issued identification, driver's license, passport, selfie or live identity verification, payment verification, and additional documents reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
Communications, Including SMS/Text Messaging — We collect information that you provide when communicating through email, telephone, SMS/text message, WhatsApp, live chat, social media, contact forms, customer support, surveys, and reviews. If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Book My Boat, we collect your phone number and your consent status (opt-in and opt-out records) in order to operate our SMS program. Photos, Reviews, and User Content — If you voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, videos, comments, or other materials, we may collect, store, display, and use such content.
Information from Vessel Owners and Providers — If you are a vessel owner, captain, crew member, or other Provider, we may also collect business-related information including business name, vessel information, licenses and certifications, insurance information, banking or payment information, tax documentation, availability schedules, pricing information, and photographs.

When you access our website or Services, we may automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and identifiers, language preferences, pages visited, search activity, booking activity, referral websites, date and time of access, session duration, click activity, and other technical information.

Book My Boat uses cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, maintain secure sessions, improve website functionality, analyze traffic, measure advertising performance, personalize content, and prevent fraud. Consent — We collect your mobile phone number and obtain your express written consent (opt-in) before enrolling you in our SMS program. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Book My Boat. Enrollment occurs only through an affirmative action by you, such as checking an unchecked consent checkbox on our website or booking form, or texting a keyword to our number.
Types of Messages — With your consent, Book My Boat may send: booking confirmations, reservation reminders and updates, customer support and account-related messages, and, where you have separately opted in, promotional and marketing messages (including special offers and promotions).
Message Frequency — Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and your reservation activity (for example, "message frequency may vary" or a stated range such as up to 4 messages/month, depending on your actual program).
Message and Data Rates — Message and data rates may apply. Charges will depend on your mobile carrier and plan.
No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data (Critical Disclosure) — Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. This means your mobile phone number and SMS consent status will never be sold, rented, licensed, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for their own marketing purposes. This restriction does not apply to our SMS platform/technology vendors who process messages solely on our behalf as service providers, subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations, and solely to enable Book My Boat's own SMS program.
How to Opt Out — You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Book My Boat at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us, unless you re-opt in. Carriers — Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Book My Boat's Services, including our SMS program, are not directed to children under the age of 13 (and our SMS program is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 18), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, except where permitted by applicable law.

Vessel Owners, Captains, Crew Members, and Service Providers — To facilitate your reservation, we may share limited Personal Information with the applicable vessel owner, captain, crew members, marina operators, transportation providers, caterers, photographers, and other independent service providers involved in your reservation.
Payment Processors — Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment providers. We may share payment-related information with payment processors, financial institutions, fraud prevention providers, and payment networks.
Technology and Business Service Providers — We may share Personal Information with trusted third-party service providers that assist us in operating our business, including providers of website hosting, cloud storage, payment processing, identity verification, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, customer support, email delivery, SMS and WhatsApp communications platforms, analytics, marketing, advertising, and accounting. Closing your account does not automatically delete all Personal Information associated with your account. Book My Boat may retain certain information as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, satisfy tax and accounting obligations, complete pending transactions, prevent fraud, investigate disputes, enforce our agreements, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Please note that reviews, testimonials, photographs, or other content that you voluntarily submitted for publication may remain publicly available unless removal is requested and permitted by applicable law.
Certain information may also remain temporarily stored in backup systems, disaster recovery systems, archived records, or legal files for business continuity, security, auditing, or legal compliance purposes.
